Blog 4; Chapter 3
Learning to Learn
After reading the Learning in the Classroom section in Chapter 3 of The Connected Educator I found it fascinating. They used the example of people homeschooling and still within their homes following the same exact school model. The desks being replicas the scheduling modeling that of an actual school schedule. If you're given the opportunity to home school and really make a difference in education why would you follow exactly what's already being done in those free public schools.

To continue, I really enjoyed the last paragraph of this chapter using a famous film to try to relate to us. With the use of the Star Wars in referencing how important it is to unlearn and relearn something. Having the strength to take a step back and re-envision yourself as an educator and a student is necessary for everyones success.
To conclude, this chapter I feel is essential to any career you choose. The mindset of taking responsibility and unlearning and relearning is a great way to help you connect to others. Being able to connect and learn from one another based on your needs or theres is what learning is really all about. Having the means to assess each other and benefit each other while learning is truly necessary to grow.
